Crystal Rainbow: A Science Exploration

We started today with our term two exams, which always needs a bit of fun mixed into the routine.
Since we’ve finished our unit on the water and have learned about the properties of water, making crystal rainbows was the perfect break in our routine. My girl thrived on science experiments and I want to do all I can to encourage this in her.

Crystal rainbows help reinforce the concept of water as a solvent and saturation. I love how it reinforces the magic of science younger students love.
