A Mother's Education Volume 2
“If mothers could learn to do for themselves what they do for their children when they are overdone, we should have happier households. Let the mother go out to play!”
-Charlotte Mason
As mothers, we are constantly giving to our children. It’s a beautiful thing to pour into the hearts and minds of our children and watch them grow.
It is a firm belief of mine that learning alongside your child is a beautiful experience. Giving yourself a Charlotte Mason Education will help you grow in confidence in homeschooling your child.
Charlotte Mason is credited with the phrase, “children are born persons”, and I believe adults are too.
Mothers deserve to fill their cup and set their feet in a wide room of knowledge with living books, journaling, and access to nature.
A Mother’s Education Volume 2 was written for the mother who would like to give themselves a Charlotte Mason education and learn more about how her philosophy can be meaningful in your life as a person.
With a robust booklist, you’ll have the opportunity to read beautiful, living books and join other members of the community on private social media groups to discuss what you’re learning.
The readings are scheduled over 36 weeks with tips and blank journaling pages so that you can plan the days that work best for you.
Each week includes a reflection sheet where you can think back on what you’re learning, the successes, and challenges you faced.
In the introduction pages, we discuss the ins and outs of various aspects of note booking that are important to continuing your own education. This includes using a book of centuries, nature journaling, common placing, and written narrations.
This program includes the book Philosophy of Education by Charlotte Mason, which makes this resource is non- secular however, it does not include faith- based or theological books. We encourage you to add your own daily faith practices, however that looks for you.
This program isn’t specifically written for homeschooling mothers, but for any mother hoping to grow in their own education.
As Charlotte Mason says, “There is no education but self-education.”
My true hope for this program is that you will continue to be a life-long learner and ignite a passion to learn about the amazing world we live in.
This is a digital product, no physical copy will be mailed to you*
